Abstract:This paper analyzes the incisive counter-arguments against Gaṅgeśa's defense of non-conceptual perception (nirvikalpakapratyakṣa) offered by the Dvaita Vedānta scholar Vyāsatīrtha (16th cent.) in his Destructive Dance of Dialectic (Tarkatāṇḍava).
