Thermal and surface studies of unidirectional grown nickel sulfate added triglycine sulphate single crystal

Abstract: Triglycine sulfate crystal added with 0.5 mole% nickel sulfate of 15 mm diameter and 150 mm height has been grown from an aqueous solution using Sankaranarayanan–Ramamasamy (S‐R) method in [001] direction. The grown crystal was studied by various characterization techniques. Thermogravimetry analysis reveals that the NiSO4 added TGS crystal is more thermally stable than pure TGS crystal.
