Abstract: Patterning of stable, spatially tailored ferroelectric domains in thin-film lithium niobate enables efficient nonlinear optical interactions through quasi-phase matching. The engineering of domain structure is limited by the uncontrolled distribution of defects, which disrupt domain wall motion.
