Thermal management investigation on fluid processing within porous rhombic cavities: Heatlines versus entropy generation

Abstract: The study of natural convection in rhombic enclosure has been a subject of interest in the recent past. In the current work, the effect of various shapes of the rhombic enclosure (w ¼ 458, 608, and 758) is investigated for fixed areas (A ¼ 0.5, 1, and 1.5) over an extensive range of parameters (Pr m ¼ 0.015 À 1000, Da m ¼ 10 À5 À 10 À2 , and Ra m ¼ 10 6 ) for an optimal thermal configuration. The rhombic enclosure is subjected to the isothermal heating of the bottom wall along with the cold side and top walls.… Show more

“…The same authors have also explored the natural or double-diffusive phenomena in their research articles (Kumar et al , 2023b, 2021). Furthermore, several other researchers have also paid attention to studying the entropy generation in conventional physical domains (Shaker et al , 2022; Ishak et al , 2020; Tayebi and Chamkha, 2019; Kardgar, 2021; Hussain et al , 2018; Singh et al , 2015b; Alipanah et al , 2015; Das and Basak, 2017; Roşca et al , 2023).…”
