Thermal Vacancy Effects on the Thermodynamic Properties and Stability of Fullerites

Abstract: We study the influence of thermal vacancies on equilibrium thermodynamic properties of the high-temperature phase of fullerites taking into account the strong anharmonicity of the lattice vibrations.
