Thermochemical Properties and Bioactivity of the Metallic Complexes of Levofloxacin

Abstract: The aim of this study was complexation of levofloxacin with iron, calcium, copper and ammonium salts. The formation of the metal complexes were confirmed by TLC and FT-IR. The newly formed metal complexes showed characteristics thermochemical behaviours such as differential scanning calorimetric and thermo gravimetric properties along with bioactivity.
