Thermodynamics of molecular interactions between nitromethane and aromatic hydrocarbons

Abstract: Excess volumes of mixing VE, excess enthalpies HE, and excess Gibbs free energies of mixing GE, of binary mixtures of nitromethane with aromatic hydrocarbons have been measured at 303.15 and 313.15 K. The VE, HE, and GE data, which are positive throughout the entire range of concentrations, have been examined with Winnick's theory.
