Thermomagnetic Processing of Aluminum Alloys During Heat Treatment

Abstract: Processing materials under magnetic fields is an underexplored technique to improve structure and mechanical properties in metals and alloys. Magnetic fields can alter phase stability, modify diffusion characteristics, and alter material flow substantially.
