“…14 The activity coefficient measurements for 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride ([EMIm]Cl) in (formamide + water) mixtures using the potentiometric method have been reported. 15 Effect of the ionic liquid 1-octyle-3-methylimidazolium bromide on the thermophysical properties of aqueous D-glucose solutions at 298.15 K. 16 Conductometric and refractometric study of the 1ethyl-3-methylimidazolum bromide ionic liquid in water + ethanol/1-propanol mixtures at T = 298.2, 308.2, and 318.2 K. 17 In continuation of previous works on imidazolium-based ILs, such as [5,11,12,15], the obtained results on the transport and thermodynamic properties, including conductivity and activity coefficients (γ ± ) of [HMIm]Br in [HMIm]Br + ethanol + water ternary mixtures, are presented. The obtained results were evaluated by the Fuoss−Onsager equation to determine the limiting molar conductivity (Λ 0 ) and ion association constant (K A ).…”

“…Direct alkylation of N-methylimidazole with 1-bromoehexane was used to synthesize [HMIm]Br according to a previous work. 5 To this end, an additional amount of 1-bromoehexane in ethyl acetate as solvent was added dropwise to a flask containing N-methylimidazole. The mixture was slowly heated to T = 353.2 K. Then, the resulting solution was reflexed under a nitrogen atmosphere for 72 h at T = 353.2 K. The obtained mixture was separated from the reagents and then rinsed three times with ethyl acetate to remove the excess 1-bromohexane.…”

“…These compounds are low-temperature molten salts consisting of a large organic cation and inorganic or organic anion with a melting point less than 100 • C [47]. They are characterized by nonvolatility, nonflammability, a wide liquid range [48] and excellent chemical and thermal stability [49]. The unique characteristics of ILs make them proper alternatives to classical organic solvents and they have been tested in different areas like electrochemistry, liquid phase extractions, catalysis for clean technology and polymerization processes [48,[50][51][52][53].…”

“…Metal salt of these amino acid affects the solubility and conductivity. Conductometric investigation received more attention of researchers for molecular interactions investigation at various concentration and different temperatures [8][9][10][11][12][13] by using different types of molecules. Ionic behavior of sodium and potassium salts valinate were not yet been discussed in the literature at a lower concentration range and different temperatures conductometrically.…”
