Thermosurgery of the Tonsils

Abstract

Since 1971, more than one thousand patients with habitual angina, chronic tonsillitis and tonsillogeneous focal infection have been treated by splitting the tonsils with an electrically heated cautery. This procedure is called thermosurgery by the present authors.
