Abstract:Thigh compartment syndrome is a relatively rare but potentially devastating condition. We present three cases in semi-professional soccer players and demonstrate that satisfactory results can be obtained with timely surgical intervention. Clinicians and team doctors should have a high index of suspicion for thigh compartment syndrome following blunt trauma and should be aware that it can develop many hours or days after injury.
