Thin Film Properties of Thermally Stable Protic Ionic Liquids

Abstract: Ionic liquids (ILs) have aroused particular interest as potential lubricants because their thermal stabilities are quite superior to those of conventional lubricants, however, their thin film properties have not been investigated very much.
