Abstract: Many water-soluble polymers undergo phase separation above their lower critical solution temperature (LCST) in aqueous solutions. Generally, the LCST is controlled via the polymer−solvent interactions, which, in turn, are highly structure dependent and typically tuned via the polymer side chain.
