“…Work at Sheffield [27] also showed that standard solution treatments for conventional wrought alloy such as the 2014 (1h at 500 0C) gave incomplete homogenization after thixoforming and that longer solution times (5h and 17h) are required for complete solutionization of the CuAl 2 .
