This thesis introduces the basic principles and work methods of the pinhole camera detection technology. And the feasibility and veracity of pinhole camera detection technology are proved in the aspect of testing timberwork with an engineering project. And then according to the steps of determining the parameters, choosing an appropriate set of lens, choosing a suitable drill, drilling holes, removing the dust and debris and collecting data, the quality of the reinforced timberwork are confirmed to reach the standard after the processing and analyzing of the actual measured data The paper provide a new way for the quality check of the reinforced timberwork.
