Thromboembolic events in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (BFM protocols): prednisone versus dexamethasone administration

Abstract: Alterations in hemostasis leading to symptomatic thromboembolism have been observed in patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) receiving Escherichia coli asparaginase (CASP) combined with steroids.
