Abstract:Background/AimsDeep vein thrombosis (DVT) is common in clinical practice and it is associated with systemic illnesses and frequently associated with complications. The classic presentation is unilateral limb oedema associated with pain. Acute pulmonary embolism is common which is life threatening.
