Thrombolytic therapy for venous thromboembolism: Current clinical practice

Abstract: BACKGROUND: Venous thromboembolism (VTE) is a life‐threatening condition for which thrombolytic therapy may be beneficial. The appropriate setting for the use of thrombolytic therapy remains controversial.
