“…In one study, a very high IgG (APL) titer was associated with a relative risk of 24.9 for endocarditis development in patients with acute Q fever (Million et al, 2015). Fortunately, treatment of acute Q fever with hydroxychloroquine prevents persistent APL and reduces the number of associated complications, including thrombosis (Million et al, 2017).
