Abstract:Background and AimsSteatotic liver disease (SLD) is generally considered to represent a hepatic manifestation of metabolic syndrome and includes a disease spectrum comprising isolated steatosis, metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatohepatitis, liver fibrosis and ultimately cirrhosis.
