Abstract: Thyroid imaging tests provide more information about the thyroid gland’s size, shape, and function. After the thyroid blood tests which are the gold standard for the assessment of conditions like hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism, imaging tests are recommended to establish a diagnosis.
