Tidal Forces in Majumdar-Papapetrou Spacetimes

Abstract: Tidal disruption events occur when astrophysical objects are destroyed by black holes due to strong tidal force effects. Tidal forces have been studied in a variety of black hole spacetimes, including Reissner-Nordström and Kerr spacetimes.
