In addition to these processes, the simulations presented in this paper speci cally take i n to account production of K-shell uorescence from a CZT mixture, using an improvement t o a method developed for EGS4 by Del Guerra et al 2 , collection of electron-hole pairs the signal using the Hecht equation 3 , broadening of the signal due to electronic-noise.
