Tonsillotomy for Periodic Fever Syndrome: A Randomized and Controlled Trial

Abstract: ObjectiveTonsillectomy is an effective treatment for periodic fever, aphthous stomatitis, pharyngitis, and cervical adenitis (PFAPA) syndrome. Tonsillotomy has a milder operative risk profile and postoperative morbidity in children than tonsillectomy.
