Abstract:One in three females with multiple sclerosis (MS) becomes pregnant after diagnosis. In the postpartum period, there is a risk of rebound inflammatory activity. This risk can likely be reduced with breastfeeding, as well as with early initiation of effective therapies that have low therapeutic lag.
