Abstract: This protocol describes the process of identifying the distribution and morphology of substance P (SP) immuno-reactive axons and terminals in the antrum, pylorus, and duodenum of mice. The antrum-pylorus-duodenum (APD) region was sectioned and immunohistochemically labeled for SP.
