Abstract:In this work we present two southern hemisphere thrips – Apterothrips apteris (Daniel) and Merothrips brunneus Ward – which were found in Guernsey and in Hastings. Both are well established and present in permanent populations. A key to the identification of
the two Merothrips species known from Europe is provided.
