Total hip arthroplasty and lumbar spine disorders: Plain co-existence or mutual influence?

Abstract: Lumbar spine disorders (LSD) might influence the outcome after total hip arthroplasty (THA). Despite a known common prevalence of LSD and degenerative hip disorders, this study investigates their mutual influence in case of co-existence with the purpose to advance surgeons planning and patient’s prognosis.
