“…Patel et al presented a case of 30 years old male who presented with pain having a history of trauma 15 years back. 9 Radiographs showed a neglected obturator dislocation of hip with a pseudo-acetabulum formation. Patient was managed by uncemented total hip arthroplasty and on 2 years followup patient was walking unaided without pain.…”

“…Based on the characteristic of the patients included in the series, all three patients were female with adolescence group age. Although a standard definition of severe curve is missing in the literature, in some studies, a scoliotic curve is defined as large when the curve magnitude (measured with Cobb's method) is ≥ 61° and as rigid when curve Cobb angle reducibility is ≤ 30%, [8], [9] so the patients included in this study were considered to have either severe (patient 2), rigid (patient 3), or severe and rigid (patient 1). The two staged operation was considered in these patients because of the severity and rigidity of the curve and the Risser 2 skeletal maturity.…”

“…A retrospective review was undertaken of patients with severe and rigid scoliosis who had undergone two-staged operation in Orthopaedics and Traumatology Department of Prof Ngoerah General Hospital Bali during the period between January 2018 and February 2020. The criteria of severe scoliosis was one with curve magnitude (measured with Cobb's method) of ≥ 61°, whereas the criteria of "rigid" was one with curve Cobb angle reducibility of ≤ 30% [8], [9]. The Cobb angle reducibility of the spine was measured by using the following formula [5], [6], [10]: The data was obtained from the hospital's medical records and archives in our department.…”

“…Uncemented total hip arthroplasty was performed and after 2 years follow up, the patient was able to walk unaided without pain. 10 Ilyas et al, treated 15 patients with chronic unreduced hip fracture-dislocations result from motor vehicle injury at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center. All underwent 1-stage total hip arthroplasty with bone grafting and then monitored for 36-96 months range.…”
