“…Dessa forma, apesar de a produção de compósitos cimentícios com agregados reciclados já ser uma temática frequentemente abordada na literatura nacional e internacional, o uso de esgoto tratado para essa prática também vem ganhando mais visibilidade. Assim, a importância do presente estudo se baseia no fato de que, atualmente, não foi encontrada uma grande variedade de pesquisas no meio científico que propõem o uso desses materiais em associação (AHMED et al, 2021;ELCHALAKANI et al 2017;ELGAALI, 2012;RAMÍREZ-TENJHAY et al, 2016;RAZA et al, 2021). Além disso, a possibilidade de utilizar o esgoto tratado e o RCD nos compósitos cimentícios em substituição aos materiais naturais mantendose suas propriedades, surge com uma alternativa sustentável, com possibilidade de larga aplicação devido à ampla geração de ambos os materiais e que se mostra promissora em relação a solução de questões factuais como o esgotamento de recursos naturais, a dificuldade na disposição final adequada do grande volume de resíduos e a degradação de corpos hídricos mediante o lançamento de efluentes.…”
