“…The importance of a complex evaluation tool in the preventive field (which enables early detection of the effectiveness of screening campaigns) is confirmed by the variety of uses and applications of this scale, designed for use by practitioners and healthcare providers to predict risky behaviours (Maloney et al, ), and is motivated by the social impact of diabetes whose incidence is steadily increasing in Western societies. In fact, there are several uses of the RBD and several adaptations to different fields of study (e.g., Bertens, Eiling, van den Borne, & Schaalma, ; Gould, Watt, Cadet‐James, & Clough, ; Liu, Pennington‐Gray, & Krieger, ; Redmond, Dong, & Frazier, ) but we are not aware, at this stage of our knowledge, of other validations or confirmatory studies with respect to the structure originally proposed by the author.…”
