Tourism Observatory of the Canary Islands.

Abstract: Regarding tourist arrivals, 89% were foreign tourists, while 1.7 million, the remaining 11%, have their residence in other regions of Spain. Regarding foreign tourists, the United Kingdom shows the highest figures, slightly over 5 million tourists in 2018, representing approxi-mately a third of the tourists in the Canary Islands.
