Toward a Molecular Classification of the Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Abstract: The frequency of the squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck is constantly increasing, with over 550.000 new cases registered globally each year. The conventional histopathological diagnosis most commonly indicates the squamous cell carcinoma as tumor type and G2 as differentiation grade.
