Toward Characterization of Variable-Amplitude Fatigue Crack Growth Properties

Abstract: Variable-amplitude fatigue crack propagation (VAFCP) involves load history effects whose characterization falls beyond the scope of prevailing constant-amplitude fatigue crack growth testing practices such as those outlined in ASTM E647.
