Abstract:In this study, a catalyst with Ni‐Mo combination was synthesized using the electric heating/reductive tempering method. Nickel (II) nitrate hexahydrate and ammonium molybdate were combined in a ratio of 1.1 in this approach. The mixture was milled into a fine powder. It was heated to 950°C to 1000°C in a seething hood. The disappearance of green shading and emission of brownish‐yellow fumes indicated that the reaction was completed.
