Abstract:Sustainable poly(lactic acid) (PLA)/poly(propylene carbonate) (PPC) blends were compatibilized by the environmentally friendly epoxidized soybean oil (ESO) through the chemical reaction of epoxy functional groups on ESO with the terminated carboxyl and hydroxyl groups of PLA/PPC.
