The power system worldwide is going through a revolutionary transformation due to the integration with various distributed components, including advanced metering infrastructure, communication infrastructure, distributed energy resources, and electric vehicles, to improve the reliability, energy efficiency, management, and security of the future power system. These components are becoming more tightly integrated with IoT. They are expected to generate a vast amount of data to support various applications in the smart grid, such as distributed energy management, generation forecasting, grid health monitoring, fault detection, home energy management, etc. With these new components and information, artificial intelligence techniques can be applied to automate and further improve the performance of the smart grid. In this paper, we provide a comprehensive review of the state-of-the-art artificial intelligence techniques to support various applications in a distributed smart grid. In particular, we discuss how artificial techniques are applied to support the integration of renewable energy resources, the integration of energy storage systems, demand response, management of the grid and home energy, and security. As the smart grid involves various actors, such as energy produces, markets, and consumers, we also discuss how artificial intelligence and market liberalization can potentially help to increase the overall social welfare of the grid. Finally, we provide further research challenges for large-scale integration and orchestration of automated distributed devices to realize a truly smart grid.

This project represents the design, construction and development of 3D printer. According to the study of comparing traditional manufacturing methods for producing components, organic methods are implemented. The idea of this project is entirely based on controlling the motor for full steering across each axis. This Project utilizes ARDUINO MEGA to control the entire circuitry. The proposed design fulfills the need of artificial parts or Model. This 3D Printer is based on the technology of the FUSED DEPOSITION MODELING. It extrudes plastic filament from a nozzle and deposits molten plastic along planned paths layer by layer until a part is completed. Thus creating the exact prototype of the model created on CAD software. 3D Printing is accelerating innovative technology, minimising material usuage but developing actual 3D model.

Abstract. This paper shows the implementation of Knowledge Management as a tool to get the best of technologies for home electric management through a domotics prototype that controls a light remotely in real time and according to user needs, which was designed and developed focused on the concept Internet of Things. An analysis of the prototype operation and its integration with Knowledge Management is performed for the user who employs it, proposing a diagram of knowledge focused on the axes: externalization, combination, internalization and socialization. In the diagram, the processes are linked to generate knowledge and facilitate attachment with information and communication technologies focused on housing. In this way, the use of smart technologies together with Knowledge Management, and the incorporation of social and cultural variables facilitates the implementation of Home Energy Management Systems.
