Responses of phytoplankton functional groups to the hydrologic regime in the Daning River, a tributary of Three Gorges Reservoir, China

These conditions led to the decline of group Lo in the midstream, because this group is sensitive to prolonged or deep mixing (Huszar et al, 2003;Reynolds et al, 2002). Meanwhile, groups C and B increased in the midstream and estuary.…”
