Abstract: Aqueous reversible zinc batteries using near-neutral aqueous electrolytes like ZnSO4/H2O are the cheaper, safer and more durable alternatives to typical nonaqueous Li-ion batteries, and seem more suited for renewable and large-scale energy storage.
