“…In this regard, however, although several studies have examined the sustainability performance of airports (e.g., Baxter et al, 2018; Chang & Yeh, 2016; de Castro Carvalho et al, 2013; Kılkış & Kılkış, 2016; Ngo & Tian, 2021; Sreenath et al, 2021), only a few contributions have examined sustainability disclosure (Jordao, 2009; Karagiannis et al, 2019; Koç & Durmaz, 2015; Skouloudis et al, 2012; Upham & Mills, 2005).
