Purpose of the study: This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of implementing the mind map method in improving the Indonesian language vocabulary skills of children in Group B at Kindergarten School Al Khairiyah Kota Bandar Lampung. Methodology: This research uses qualitative methods with classroom action research as the main tool to teach Indonesian vocabulary to 19 group B children at Al Khairiyah Kindergarten, Bandar Lampung City with total sampling. Data collection, namely observation, documentation and analysis, was carried out to assess the impact of the method on vocabulary acquisition. Main Findings: In Cycle 1, the mind map method was applied in two meetings with a focus on the theme of food and drink, resulting in an increase in Indonesian vocabulary. Cycle 2 continued this approach with improvements to the clothing theme lesson, which resulted in significant improvements in students' understanding and response to the material. Overall, the application of mind map method proved effective in improving the Indonesian vocabulary skills of Group B children at Al Khairiyah Kindergarten, Bandar Lampung City. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study contributes to the field by demonstrating the effectiveness of the mind map method in improving vocabulary acquisition among young learners. This research is offers practical insights for educators seeking innovative approaches to language teaching and learning, which have the potential to advance pedagogical practices in early childhood education.

The ongoing second quantum revolution and the growing impact of quantum technologies on our society and economy are making quantum physics education even more important. Consequently, there is a lot of research on quantum physics education for university students and even the general public. However, studying quantum physics or any other topic is primarily voluntary and thus a matter of personal interest—and it can only grow from a seed planted earlier. Here, we describe and test how a one-day event designed to trigger interest and change perceptions about quantum physics among physics and mathematics students at the University of Turku, Finland succeeded in meeting its goals. The data was collected from participants through questionnaires and complementary interviews. We found that the event made attitudes and views toward quantum physics more positive, versatile, and realistic. Although the event was too short to notably or permanently elevate the phase of interest when evaluated externally on a four-level scale, self-evaluations still reported an increased interest for most participants. Thus, it appears that even a short event can cultivate the ground to make it fertile for maintaining and developing interest further, for example, by well-designed and -timed quantum physics curriculum.

This research aims to develop entrepreneurship-based teaching materials in environmental education for class VII junior high school students. The development approach follows the ASSURE model, which includes potential and competency analysis, setting learning objectives, selecting methods, media and materials, student participation, as well as evaluation and improvement. After development, the teaching materials were tested on class VII junior high school students in Jambi City. Validation results by design and materials experts show product conformity with the writing procedures and curriculum used. Student responses to teaching materials show enthusiasm and improvement in environmental learning. Formative and summative evaluations are also carried out to measure the effectiveness and attractiveness of teaching materials. Comments and suggestions from experts and peers are used to make revisions to the product. The novelty of this research lies in the development of entrepreneurship-based teaching materials in environmental education for junior high school students, which can increase interest and effectiveness of learning. The implication is that the adoption of this teaching material can improve the quality of environmental learning in schools.
