Towards the Internet of Behaviors in Smart Cities through a Fog-To-Cloud Approach

Abstract: Recent advances in Internet of Things (IoT) and the rising of the Internet of Behavior (IoB) have made it possible to develop real-time improved traveler assistance tools for mobile phones, assisted by cloud-based machine learning, and using fog computing in between IoT and the Cloud. Within the Horizon2020-funded mF2C project an Android app has been developed exploiting the proximity marketing concept and covers the essential path through the airport onto the flight, from the least busy security queue through… Show more

“…For example, penetration testing can be used to test the system against certain types of attacks, such as denial of service attacks [46], SQL injection attacks [47], and crosssite scripting attacks [48]. Where the tester starts by analyzing the computer system under test, generating a set of test cases, selecting the important test cases, executing those test cases, and reporting the results [29,[49][50][51][52].…”

“…Wherefore, deep learning comes to solve many obstacles that existed before. Using deep learning for extracting features from the satellite image saves the effort, time, cost spent by manual work, but the accuracy is a questionable point [19,20]. In our use case, buildings and landscape areas are extracted and find their geometries using Object Instance Segmentation which is a new approach developed to overcome some challenges faced before.…”

“…The Internet of Things (IoT) has become one of the most prominent technologies in the evolving digital era (1)(2)(3)(4)(5). IoT has transformed the way humans interact with devices and systems in their surroundings, ranging from smart homes to autonomous vehicles (6)(7)(8). IoT is often integrated with artificial intelligence (AI) (9).…”
