Toxic Effects of Hydroxychloroquine on the Choroid

Abstract: Multimodal imaging demonstrates choriocapillaris degeneration in eyes with HCQ retinopathy, particularly those with severe retinopathy. The choroidal change was associated with outer retinal toxicity of HCQ.
