Abstract:Background:The use of metal-drug complexes in medicine has encouraged researchers in the quest for novel chemotherapeutic agents against toxicity, bacterial and other infections. Methods: Four new mixed metal-drug complexes of amodiaquine and anthranilic acid have been prepared using Ni(II), Cd(II), Mn(II), and Cu(II) metal ions.
