Toxicological and Genotoxicological evaluation of Chitosan Nanoparticles Loaded with Pinene in A Murine Model

Abstract: Byrsonima crassifolia (Malpighiaceae) has been widely used in Mexican traditional medicine as a remedy for the treatment of depression and diabetes. Various monoterpenes and diterpenes, have been identified from the active extract and has been demonstrated their antifungal activity.
