Trace Dissolved Oxygen Removal Using a Hydrocyclone to Enhance Denitrification

Abstract: Dissolved oxygen (DO) is entrained by mixed liquid recirculation (MLR) into the anoxic basin in the pre-denitrification biological nitrogen removal (PDBNR) process and should be removed to enhance denitrification.
