Tracer diffusion in concentrated lattice gas models. Rectangular lattices with anisotropic jump rates

Abstract: An approximate theory is developed for tracer diffusion in rectangular lattice gas models with anisotropic jump rates to neighboring unoccupied sites in different directions. Comparison with Monte Carlo simulations on quadratic lattices with several ratios for the jump rates in orthogonal directions shows a satisfactory agreement in all cases investigated.
