Tranexamic Acid Use in Pediatric Craniotomies at a Large Tertiary Care Pediatric Hospital: A Five Year Retrospective Study

Abstract: Tranexamic acid (TXA), a synthetic antifibrinolytic drug, has proven efficacy and is recommended for major pediatric surgery to decrease perioperative blood loss.
