Abstract:Systemic Sclerosis (SSc) is an autoimmune disorder of unknown etiopathogenesis. In SSc stimulatory antibodies targeting the platelet-derived growth factor receptor a (PDGFRa) have been described, cloned and demonstrated to activate human fibroblasts in vitro and ex vivo.
