Abstract:Gastrointestinal leiomyomas (GILM) are benign tumors truly originated in the smooth muscle of the digestive tract, therefore, they are mesenchymal tumors and can come from the muscularis propria, muscularis mucosae or from the smooth muscle of the blood vessels.
